Ticket fraud is the sale of counterfeit, stolen, or nonexistent tickets to events.
Scammers sell fake tickets to concerts, sports games, or travel, leaving buyers unable to enter or board.
The term also covers schemes where legitimate tickets are resold multiple times: She paid three hundred dollars for concert tickets that turned out to be ticket fraud.
