Sealed insulating glass
Thermopane is a brand name for double-glazed windows—two panes of glass with an insulating air space between them.
The name has become somewhat generic for any insulated window unit: The old thermopane windows had fogged up between the panes.
The design reduces heat transfer and condensation compared to single-pane glass.
