tear-down
Structure slated for demolition
A tear-down is the complete demolition of a structure, typically a house bought not for its building but for its land: They paid two million for a tear-down in that neighborhood.
The term also applies to systematic disassembly for analysis—engineers perform tear-downs of competitors' products to study their design.
As a verb phrase, to tear down is to demolish or dismantle.
