Tandem flight is a form of paragliding, hang gliding, or skydiving where a passenger flies attached to an experienced pilot.
The pilot controls the equipment while the passenger experiences flight without training.
The term also applies to birds or insects flying in close formation, one behind the other: The dragonflies locked together in tandem flight.
