tablescape
Dining table décor
A tablescape is the decorative arrangement of a table setting, encompassing dishes, linens, centerpieces, candles, and other elements designed to create a cohesive visual effect.
The term blends "table" with "landscape," suggesting the table as a designed environment.
Tablescapes appear most often in discussions of entertaining, weddings, and holiday hosting: She spent hours perfecting the Thanksgiving tablescape.
The word gained currency with the rise of lifestyle media and Pinterest-style inspiration.
