Stuffed olives are pitted olives filled with something—most commonly a sliver of pimento, but also garlic, almonds, jalapeño, or blue cheese.
They're served as appetizers, in salads, or as cocktail garnishes: a martini with three stuffed olives.
The filling adds flavor and visual appeal to what would otherwise be a hole.
