stripteasers

Disrobing stage performers

Stripteasers are performers who do striptease—the act of slowly removing clothing to music, typically for erotic entertainment.

The term is old-fashioned; stripper is now the standard word for someone who performs at clubs or private events.

The stripteasers worked the burlesque circuit in the 1950s.
