stoppage time
Injury time extension
Stoppage time is the period added to the end of a soccer half to compensate for time lost to injuries, substitutions, and other delays.
Because the game clock runs continuously, referees add minutes at their discretion: The winning goal came in stoppage time.
Also called injury time or added time.
