stop limit
Conditional sell order
A stop limit is a type of stock market order combining two price thresholds: a stop price that triggers the order and a limit price that caps what you'll pay or accept.
Unlike a simple stop order that executes at whatever price is available once triggered, a stop limit only fills at your limit price or better: I set a stop limit to sell at $48 stop, $47 limit.
This provides more control but risks the order never executing if the price moves too fast.
