steampunked
Given brass gears
Steampunked describes something redesigned or modified to evoke steampunk aesthetics—Victorian-era styling combined with brass, gears, goggles, and retrofuturistic machinery.
A laptop gets steampunked when someone adds leather casing and decorative clockwork.
The term can also mean overwhelmed or defeated, following the pattern of other "-punked" formations: We got totally steampunked in that competition.
