spinouts
Cars losing control
Spinouts are instances of spinning out—losing control of a vehicle so it rotates uncontrollably, or losing focus and going off track mentally: There were several spinouts on the icy highway.
In business, a spinout (also spin-off) is a new company created from a division of an existing one: The tech spinout attracted venture capital immediately.
