Floating pool insulator
A solar cover is a large sheet, usually of plastic with air bubbles, placed on the surface of a swimming pool.
It traps heat from sunlight to warm the water, reduces evaporation, and helps retain warmth overnight.
Also called a solar blanket: We put the solar cover on after the last swim of the day.
