slow charging
Patience-testing battery fill
Slow charging refers to replenishing a battery at a lower power level over an extended period, typically overnight or across several hours.
The term arose with electric vehicles to distinguish standard home charging from rapid public chargers: I just use slow charging at home since the car sits in the garage overnight anyway.
Slow charging is generally gentler on battery longevity than fast charging.
