skate wax
Ledge slide enhancer
Skate wax is a block of hard wax rubbed on surfaces to reduce friction for skateboarding or aggressive inline skating.
Skaters apply it to curbs, rails, and ledges to make grinds and slides smoother: Someone already waxed this ledge.
Most skate wax is paraffin-based, though some skaters use household candles in a pinch.
