shoulder button
Top gamepad input
A shoulder button is a control on a video game controller, positioned on the upper edge where the index or middle fingers naturally rest.
Modern controllers typically have two shoulder buttons on each side—one trigger-shaped, one flatter: Use the right shoulder button to aim.
Also called a bumper or trigger depending on design.
