service game
Holding your serve
In tennis and similar racquet sports, a service game is a game in which a player serves.
Players alternate serving, and holding serve—winning your service game—is expected because the server has the advantage.
She broke her opponent's serve but then lost her own service game.
Losing your service game is called being broken.
