semidivine
Half god, half-mortal
Semidivine describes beings or figures that are partly but not fully divine—having some godlike qualities while remaining partly mortal or earthly.
Greek mythology abounds with semidivine heroes like Hercules, born of one mortal and one divine parent.
The term applies to anyone or anything occupying middle ground between human and god: The pharaohs were treated as semidivine rulers.
