Reservoir-equipped plant container
A self-watering pot is a planter with a built-in reservoir that supplies water to the soil gradually, usually through a wick or porous barrier.
The design reduces watering frequency and helps prevent both drought stress and overwatering: I use self-watering pots for my herbs since I travel often.
