screen peeking
Splitscreen visual espionage
Screen peeking is looking at another player's portion of a split-screen display to gain unfair advantage in a multiplayer video game—seeing where opponents are hiding, what weapons they have, or where they're heading.
The practice is considered cheating in competitive play but is nearly impossible to prevent when players share a television: No screen peeking!
