river card
Last board card
The river card is the fifth and final community card dealt in Texas Hold'em and Omaha poker, placed face-up after the turn.
It represents the last chance to improve a hand before the final betting round: I caught my flush on the river.
A player who wins with a lucky river card is said to have been rivered.
