rescore
Tally up again
To rescore is to score again—recalculating points, reevaluating a test, or revising a musical arrangement.
Standardized tests may be rescored after grading errors are discovered.
In music, to rescore a piece is to rewrite it for different instruments or voices: The symphony was rescored for a smaller ensemble.
