remelted
Made molten twice
Remelted describes something that has been melted again after previously solidifying.
The term appears most often with metals and other materials that can cycle between solid and liquid states: remelted scrap aluminum, remelted chocolate that had seized.
In manufacturing, remelted stock may be of lower quality than virgin material.
