remediator
One who corrects
A remediator is someone who remediates—fixes, cleans up, or corrects something harmful or deficient.
The term appears most often in environmental contexts, where remediators address contaminated soil or groundwater: The company hired a remediator to deal with the chemical spill.
In education, a remediator helps students catch up on skills they're missing.
