region-free
Plays any disc
Region-free describes media players or discs that work regardless of geographic region coding.
DVDs and Blu-rays are often encoded to play only in specific parts of the world, but a region-free player bypasses these restrictions: I bought a region-free DVD player so I could watch Japanese imports.
Also called region-unlocked or multi-region.
