recoupable

Able to recover

Recoupable describes costs or expenses that can be recovered, typically from future earnings or revenue.

The term appears most often in entertainment contracts, where a label or studio advances money that will be recouped from an artist's royalties: The marketing budget was recoupable against album sales.

Until recoupable expenses are paid back, the artist sees nothing.
