re-entrance
Second time in
Re-entrance is the act of entering again after having left.
A performer makes a re-entrance when returning to the stage; a spacecraft makes re-entrance into Earth's atmosphere.
The term also appears in computing, where re-entrant code can be interrupted and safely called again before the previous execution completes.
