re-enabling
Restoring previous functionality again
Re-enabling is the act of enabling something again—restoring a function, feature, or capability that had been disabled or turned off.
The term appears most often in technical contexts: Re-enabling the firewall after testing fixed the security vulnerability.
It can also describe resuming support for someone's harmful behavior after a period of withdrawal: Moving back home meant re-enabling his addiction.
