ratfink
Despicable tattling person
A ratfink is an informer or snitch—someone who betrays others by reporting their misdeeds to authorities.
More broadly, it's a contemptible person, a lowlife: Don't be a ratfink.
The word combines rat (already slang for informer) with fink (same meaning), doubling the treachery.
It peaked in mid-20th-century American slang but remains understood.
