Neckline-to-underarm sleeve
Raglan describes a style of sleeve that extends in one piece from the neckline to the underarm, with diagonal seams running from collar to armpit rather than a seam at the shoulder.
The design allows greater freedom of movement and appears commonly in sweaters, T-shirts, and coats: a raglan-sleeve baseball tee.
Named for Lord Raglan, a British military commander.
