quiniela
Top-two prediction
A quiniela is a type of bet in which you pick the first two finishers in a race, in either order.
Common in horse racing and jai alai, it pays less than an exacta (which requires the correct order) but is easier to win: I hit a quiniela on the third race.
In Latin America, quiniela also refers to sports betting pools, especially for soccer matches.
