prop sword
Fake theatrical weapon
A prop sword is a replica weapon used in theater, film, or cosplay—designed to look like a real sword without the danger.
Prop swords may be made of foam, rubber, wood, or dulled metal depending on how they'll be used: The fight choreographer handed out prop swords for rehearsal.
Stage combat requires props that can withstand contact while minimizing injury risk.
