production photos
Behind-the-scenes images
Production photos are images taken during the making of a film, television show, or theatrical performance, documenting the creative process.
They capture actors in costume, directors at work, and behind-the-scenes activity on set.
Studios release production photos for publicity, and they serve as historical records of how productions came together: The production photos show Kubrick obsessing over every detail.
