postcard stamps

Postcard stamps are postage stamps sold at a reduced rate for mailing postcards, which require less processing than letters in envelopes.

In the United States, the postal service sells stamps specifically denominated for postcards: I need a book of postcard stamps.

The distinction matters less now that forever stamps cover standard mail regardless of format.
