ponderosity

State of heaviness

Ponderosity is the quality of being ponderous—heavy, weighty, or laboriously slow.

The word applies both to physical mass and to manner: a ponderous tome has ponderosity, as does a speaker who drones on with excessive gravity.

The term itself carries a whiff of irony, being rather ponderous for what it describes.
