plumbing system
Building's water network
A plumbing system is the network of pipes, fixtures, and fittings that delivers water throughout a building and removes wastewater.
It includes supply lines bringing fresh water in, drain lines carrying waste out, and the fixtures connecting them—sinks, toilets, showers.
The old house had a plumbing system that hadn't been updated since the 1950s.
