pillarless

Lacking vertical supports

Pillarless describes something lacking pillars or columns.

In architecture, a pillarless design achieves open space without vertical supports: The pillarless hall felt vast and unobstructed.

In automotive design, pillarless refers to cars without the metal posts between windows, creating an uninterrupted side profile when doors are open: a pillarless hardtop coupe.
