Thin Welsh pancake
A pikelet is a small, thin pancake or crumpet, depending on where you're from.
In Britain, it's a thinner variety of crumpet without the distinctive holes.
In Australia and New Zealand, it's closer to a small fluffy pancake, served with jam and cream: We had pikelets for afternoon tea.
