perfect pitches
Ideal musical tones
Perfect pitch is the rare ability to identify or produce a musical note without a reference tone—hearing a sound and knowing it's an F-sharp, or singing a C on demand.
Also called absolute pitch.
The plural refers to multiple instances of this ability or, separately, to flawless sales presentations: She delivered three perfect pitches to investors that week.
