Disability endurance race
Paratriathlon is a triathlon adapted for athletes with physical disabilities, combining swimming, cycling, and running in modified formats.
Competitors are classified by impairment type—using handcycles, racing wheelchairs, or prosthetics as needed.
The sport became a Paralympic event in 2016: She won gold in the paratriathlon at Rio.
