paper star
Origami ceiling hanger
A paper star is a decorative object folded or cut from paper, typically with five or six points.
Children make them as crafts; adults hang them as ornaments, especially during holidays.
The most common form is the three-dimensional origami star, though flat cut-out versions appear on bulletin boards and in window displays: She strung paper stars across the mantel.
