overtime win
Victory after regulation
A victory achieved after regulation time expires and additional play is required.
In sports where ties aren't allowed, overtime determines a winner when the score is level at the end of standard play: The team celebrated their overtime win against their division rivals.
Overtime wins often carry extra emotional weight because of the extended drama and sudden-death stakes.
