over-easy
Fried egg style
Over-easy describes an egg fried on both sides but with the yolk still runny.
The egg is flipped briefly—just enough to set a thin film over the yolk without cooking it through: I'll have two eggs over-easy with toast.
Compare sunny-side up (not flipped) and over-hard (yolk fully cooked).
