outreach event
Public engagement activity
An outreach event is a gathering organized to connect with people outside a group's usual circle—often to provide services, share information, or build relationships with underserved communities.
Churches hold outreach events to attract new members, nonprofits use them to deliver resources, and universities host them to recruit students: The health department's outreach event offered free screenings.
