offer one can't refuse
Threat disguised generously
An offer one can't refuse appears to present a choice but actually leaves no real option—either because the alternative is ruinous or because the terms are too good to pass up.
The phrase comes from *The Godfather*, where it means a demand backed by threat of violence: He made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
Now used more loosely for any compelling proposition.
