nude protest
Bare-skinned activism
A nude protest is a demonstration in which participants remove their clothing to draw attention to a cause.
The tactic exploits the shock value and media appeal of public nudity to amplify a message—whether about animal rights, body autonomy, censorship, or environmental issues.
PETA is known for organizing nude protests against fur.
The vulnerability of nakedness can itself be the point, symbolizing exposure or defenselessness.
