noodge

Won't stop bothering

A noodge is a person who pesters or nags persistently—someone who won't let a matter rest.

From Yiddish, the word also functions as a verb: She noodged him until he finally called the doctor.

The tone is usually affectionate exasperation rather than genuine hostility.

Also spelled nudge.
