nonidentical
Distinct from another
Nonidentical means not the same—differing in some way.
The term appears most often in biology, where nonidentical twins (fraternal twins) develop from separate fertilized eggs and share only about half their DNA, unlike identical twins who share all of it: The nonidentical twins looked nothing alike.
More broadly, nonidentical describes any things that resemble each other but aren't exactly the same.
