nonconformer
Rejects the norm
A nonconformer is someone who doesn't follow established customs, practices, or expectations.
The term applies broadly—to rebels against social norms, employees who resist corporate culture, or anyone who refuses to go along with the crowd: She was a nonconformer who questioned every tradition.
Less common than nonconformist, which carries the same meaning.
