Dark ocean exploration
A night dive is a scuba dive conducted after dark, when underwater environments reveal different marine life and behaviors than daytime exploration.
Divers use flashlights and often glow sticks for visibility and safety.
The term applies both to recreational diving and underwater work: We did a night dive on the reef and saw octopuses hunting.
