nibling
Niece or nephew
Nibling is a gender-neutral term for a sibling's child—covering both nieces and nephews the way "sibling" covers brothers and sisters.
The word was coined in the 1950s but has gained currency as people seek inclusive family terms: I'm taking my niblings to the zoo this weekend.
Plural: niblings.
